Terms & Conditions

Little Oak will provide transportation to your child based on the following terms and conditions. Upon acceptance of this agreement, Little Oak agrees to provide transportation services for your child to and from the agreed upon locations.

• After parents/guardians complete the request form, Little Oak will review the information and evaluate routes and occupancy/availability.

• Little Oak will contact parents to finalize information and payment details.

•  Services require payment on the 24th of the month prior to service.  All payments are paid online via a payment app, or via e-transfer.
  

• Payments are a fixed monthly rate, and are not adjusted for holidays, PD days, vacations, sick days etc. Little Oak takes Holidays and PD days into consideration and offers a more affordable rate each month instead of a higher fixed monthly rate.

• All transportation is to take place within Cochrane and surrounding area.

• Any non reoccurring services will require payment prior to service being provided.

• Little Oak will offer discounted prices for siblings.

• The seats are held for the registered child. There will not be a refund for missed use.
  

• Little Oak reserves the right to terminate services at the discretion of the Little Oak team, refunds will be assessed on a case by case basis

• Should a parent/guardian terminate services before the end day, there will be no refund.

• Little Oak requires 10 days notice of canceled services.
  

• It is recommended that any changes to designated pick up and drop off locations are provided with ample notice, or we may not be able to accommodate. 

• Only registered children will be permitted to travel in the passenger van

• The driver of the van provides direction to the children while they are in the passenger van and will consider the children’s utmost safety at all times. We ask all children to maintain respectful attitudes towards the driver.

• We aim to have regular driver’s to maintain familiarity with the children

• Little Oak requests that all children be ready for pick up 5 minutes prior to scheduled pick up time to maintain the schedule
  

• Little Oak is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items

• Seat belts and appropriate car seats/booster seats are required at all times by the children while riding in the passenger van. Car seats and booster seats will be provided by Little Oak, and will be regularly inspected/maintained.

• While Little Oak strives to maintain transportation prices throughout the year, Little Oak can increase monthly rates due to the increasing price of fuel and the rising cost of inflation 

• Parents/guardians/caregivers are required to be present for drop offs.
